A few storms are possible over the Rio Grande Plains and Edwards Plateau this evening. Temperatures will be cool and comfortable. Enjoy it now as mornings in the 60s will be a thing of the past by the end of the weekend.
Dry conditions and hot weather will move in this weekend and continue into the middle of next week. Highs will range from the lower 90s to 106 each day. The central part of the area will flirt with 100 degrees for the first time this year Tuesday and Wednesday as an early season heatwave looks likely.
